“This series is a practice in cultural archeology, collecting and documenting late 20th century household ephemera which comprises my early visual vocabulary – the genre objects and scenes of my youth. For this series i was specially inspired by the dutch Still Life tradition. With the semiotics of contemporary culture as a focal point, this series is a continuation of a long artistic history.”
